Tiatr Academy of Goa has organized Konkani Kantaram competition ‘Kantaramchem Daiz’, for newly composed songs only, in the categories of Duets, Duos, Trios, Quartets/Quintets and Choral songs held on March 31 at the Multipurpose hall of Directorate of Art & Culture. The prize distribution function will be held on the April 9 at the conference Hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa, Campal. Mementos will also be awarded to the best Duet, Duo,Trio,Quartet/Quintet and Choral songs.
Following are the results: In below 16 years Category, Best Duo: 1st Prize was bagged by Naira L Fernandes, Nyssa G Fernandes for Dhakttem Ani Vhoddlem; 2nd Prize was won by Jenifer Fernandes, Jane Colaco for Mogachi Bhoinn.
In General Category, Best Duet: 1st Prize went to Felicity Pereira, Zedekias D’Souza for Online Xinkop; 2nd Prize was won by Joshua R Pereira, Newita Albuquerque for Solfam Xinkonk Zai; 3rd Prize was won by Casey Carvalho, Delju Simon for Sakrament Sambai.
Best Duo: 1st Prize for Mobile went to Riosha N Menezes, Rioma L Menezes; 2nd Prize for Kitem Hanv Korum went to Celia Dias, Flaviolla Pereira.
Best Trio: 1st Prize for Goencho Vepar went to Sweta Lena D’Souza, Megan C Vas, Delju Simoes; 2nd Prize for Cheddenk Patienakai went to Lizandra Fernandes, Shania D’Costa, Vilban Pereira and 3rd Prize for Goem Konn Sambaltele went to Jenifer Fernandes, Jane Colaco, Janice Colaco.
Best Quartet: 1st Prize for Kazar Kor Ga Pai went to Amanda Luis, Presley D’Costa, Vilban Pereira, Claster Cardozo; 2nd Prize for Chorleli Girestkai Porot Mellonk Kottin went to Celfra Azavedo, Ivo Goncalves, Kingsley D’Souza, Bencia Monteiro; and 3rd Prize for Avoi Chukli went to Christina C Correia, Velvin Palha, Royston Gracias, Frebran Fernandes.
Best Choral: 1st Prize for Xetkamti went to Franzy M Furtado, Tenisha S Rebello, Jonathan Barretto, Alico L Fernandes; 2nd Prize for Cheddum went to Pury S Corte, Rioma L Menezes and 3rd Prize for Konknnicho Ani Palkacho Mog went to Cristina C Correia, Megan C Vas, Velvin Palha, Royston L Gracias.
Best Lyrics: 1st Prize for Online Xinkop went to Peter Camilo; 2nd Prize for Kazar Kor Ga Pai went to William Fernandes and 3rd Prize for Mobile went to Anthony Barreto.
There were also mementos awarded to the best Duet, Duo, Trio, Quartet/Quintet and Choral.
C. Alvares best duet award for Online Xinkop went to Felecity Pereira, Zedekias D’Souza.
Boyer-Remmie best duo award for Dhakttem Ani Vhoddlem went to Naira Fernandes, Nyssa Fernandes.
Kid-Young-Rod best trio award for Goencho Vepar went to Sweta D’Souza, Megan Vas, Delju Simoes.
Roam Tony ani sangati best quartet /quintet award for Kazar Kor Ga Pai went to Amanda Luis, Presley D’Costa, Vilban Pereira, Claster Cardoso.
Artistides & Lucian best choral award for Xetkamti went to Franzy Furtado, Tenisha Rebello, Jonathan Barretto, Alico Fernandes.
The competition was judged by well-known personalities Joe Rose and Fr Roland Lynn Fernandes. The programme was co-ordinated Meleeta Rodrigues of TAG.
