In a probable hint putting to rest all the speculations over possible cabinet reshuffle, the BJP State President and MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Monday said that all is well within the Pramod Sawant led cabinet and the Ministers are doing well.
He, however, admitted that there is lack of interaction between the Ministers and the public, and for which the Chief Minister has been directed to see that the Ministers interact with the public more often to get insight into their day-to-day issues and resolve them.
Speaking during Head On, Shet, the outgoing president, said that cabinet reshuffle is Chief Minister’s prerogative. “The Chief Minister in consultation with the Central leadership will decide on the reshuffle. But in my opinion, all is well within and the Ministers are doing well,” he said.
For last few months, State remained abuzz over possible reshuffle in the Sawant-led cabinet to accommodate Congress turncoats. Tanavade had earlier this month hinted at the likely development this year. The news had remained speculative throughout 2024-with BJP ditching several deadlines.
Meanwhile, Tanavade said that a new face should get an opportunity to be the next BJP chief. He said that every hardcore BJP worker is capable of taking the responsibility.
