The North Goa Suprintendent of Police Shobit Saxena has issued an order of suspension of two police personnel involved in a brawl on Saturday while on duty in Old Goa.
The two police personnel assaulted each other on petty issues while on duty at the police station in Old Goa.
An FIR has been registered against Assistant PSI Julio Diniz and Head Constable Sameer Fadte under Section 160 IPC for fighting in public place. Asst PSI Julio Diniz and Head Constable Sameer Fadte began assaulting each other over a petty issue on Saturday evening.
The officials were not in good terms with each other. After the report was sent, SP North has placed both officials under suspension and has asked for an detailed inquiry into the matter.
