The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which has stepped up its organisational activities in here in recent months named a senior Goa leader Valmiki Naik as the party's national spokesperson on Sunday.
The formal announcement of Naik's appointment was made in Delhi by the party's General Secretary (Organisation) and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sandeep Pathak.
Naik, who is currently Vice President of AAP's State unit has been the party's candidate from Panaji assembly constituency thrice -- 2017, 2019 bye-elections held following the passing away of Manohar Parrikar and in 2022.
