Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Goa on Thursday for a five‑day visit and was received by State in‑charge and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik and other leaders.
Party sources said Kejriwal will review grassroots organisational efforts across constituencies and may induct prominent local community leaders into the party.
While the official itinerary is yet to be released, sources indicated that public interactions and programmes are planned during the tour.
The visit comes less than a fortnight after Kejriwal’s previous trip to Goa, which was cut short due to sudden illness. He had cancelled scheduled public engagements then, sparking speculation about his health.
A long five-day visit by Kejriwal indicates AAP's focus on strengthening its hyper-local base in Goa ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, a senior party leader said, adding that the visit will focus on consolidating support for the party and expand outreach in nooks and corners of the State.
