Two government schools and the Sanjay School for Special Children were among 10 high schools in Bardez taluka to have scored 100% pass results at the SSC exams which were declared by Goa Board on Tuesday.
As many as 2,984 of the 3,164 students who answered the SSC exams from four centre in Bardez were declared successful, with a pass percentage of 94.31%.
Those schools which secured 100% results were St Britto HS (Mapusa), Government High School (Revora-Nadora), Vidhya Niketan (Calangute), Dayanand Bandodkar Smrithi Vidhyalaya (Verm-Betim), Seminary of Our Lady (Saligao), Sunandabai Bandodkar Vidhyalaya (Salvodor-do-Mundo), Government HS (Nomoshi-Guirim), Sanjay School for Special Children (Porvorim), Jnyan Vikas (Porvorim) and Divine Mercy English HS (Gaunsawaddo-Mapusa).
Of the 58 schools in Bardez, 29 schools secured over 95% pass results, while two schools, Babasaheb Ambedkar English High school, Cunchelim (31.25%) and Mark Fernandes Memorial High school, Gaurawada-Calangute (43.75%) secured result less than 50% pass results.
Meanwhile, the second batch of Divine Mercy English High school at Gaunsawaddo-Mapusa scored 100% pass results.
Of the seven students who answered the SSC exams, two secured a distinction, 3 got a first class and two passed with a second class.
