As many as 12 high schools in Pernem secured 100% success at the SSC results declared by Goa Board on Tuesday, with the Viscount of Pernem High school maintaining its track record of 100% success for the 11th successive year.
The high schools which secured 100% pass results were Viscount of Pernem High School (Pernem), Mangirish High School (Aroba), Lokshikshan High School (Dhargal), Pradhna High School (Devsu-Korgao), Kamleshwar High School (Pathechawada), Shri Kamleshwar (Deulwada), Ramakant Khalap High School (Mandrem), Shri Sateri high School (Ibrampur), Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Arambol), Parsem High School, Government High School (Dadachiwadi-Dhargal), Government high School (Homkharnem) and Our Lady of Rosary high School.
The passing results of other prominent high schools were New English HS, Keri (97.6%), Government HS, Torsem (96.55%), Panchkroshi HS, Arambol (96%), Vidhyaprasarak HS, Morjim (95%), Vikas HS, Malpem (95.56%), St Joseph HS, Pernem (96.3%), Don Bosco HS, Tuem (96.77%) Durga HS, Parsem (87%), Peter Alvares High School, Morjim (96.97%) Government HS, Agarwada (94.12%) St Anne HS, Ibrampur (91.67%) and Sai Vidha Mandir (81.48%).
The SSC results this year have revealed that the standard of education is on the rise in Pernem taluka.
2 Pernem schools get 0% results
PERNEM: While other schools were basking in the limelight after having scored 100% pass success at the SSC results, two schools in Pernem taluka had the unenviable record of securing a zero per cent success rate.
All 16 students at the Panchkroshi High School in Alorna failed in their SSC exams.
The results were no different at the New English School
in Varkhand, as both of its SSC students failed in their
exams.
