In what could be a New Year gift for 12 IRB personnel, the Goa Police on Wednesday promoted 12 constables (Wireless) to the rank of Head Constable (Wireless) on a regular basis.
The promotees -- Sanjiv Naik, Laxman Khot, Mahadev Gawas, Vassu Palyekar, Vithal Gaokar, Sanjiv Sawant, Prakash Gawas, Yogesh Gaunkar, Deepak Bhosale, Bhagwan Naik, Rajendra Naik and Manguesh Velip are currently deployed at various IRB camps in Valpoi, Ribandar, Bicholim and Sanguem, as well as the GRP camp at Altinho, the Central Jail and EMRI Bambolim.
