PONDA:
A rider was injured when a truck struck the two-wheeler and later crashed into a house at Shiroda in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to reports, a two-wheeler was going from Borim to Sanvordem at about 2 am, when a truck proceeded on the main road and struck the two-wheeler. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle and the truck crashed into a roadside house owned by Sandesh Naik.
The scooter rider was injured in the mishap and was moved to the Shiroda Health Centre but was later referred to the Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim for further treatment. Ponda police conducted the panchnama of the accident.
