16-year-old girl from Mormugao kidnapped

Vasco Police have opened a kidnapping case after a complaint was filed regarding the abduction of a 16-year-old girl from Mormugao. 

The complaint, made on 16 November 2024 at 6:04 PM, states that the incident took place on 25 October 2024 at around 3:10 PM. The complainant, whose identity is being protected for privacy, reported that their minor daughter was taken by unknown individuals while she was under their lawful guardianship.

At the time of her disappearance, the girl was wearing a green kurta, a white dupatta, and grey jeans.

Vasco Police have filed a case under Section 137(2) of the BNS Act. The investigation is being led by LPSI Archana Gaonkar, under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak, with guidance from Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
