19 students feted at Bicholim
BICHOLIM: Founder chairman of Ideal High School Pilgao Ramchandra Garde said it is necessary to develop leadership qualities in students rather than possessing themn, as students can achieve better prospects in future.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Samrat student felicitation programme jointly organised by Samrat Club of Bicholim and Samrat Students’ Foundation at BMC hall Bicholim. Samrat Club Usgao president Dr Uday Kudalkar, Samrat Club Bicholim president Bhagwan Harmalkar, secretary Pravin Sawant, treasurer Nilesh Tople and Samrat Students Foundation president Suresh Ghatwal were present.
On the occasion, about 17 students of Std 9 from different high schools in Bicholim were felicitated with 'Samrat Students of the Year' award for achieving success in the field of education, culture, sports and other areas.
