CANACONA
Two accused arrested for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 34,000 at Char-Rasta, Canacona, have been remanded to five days in police custody. Canacona police are investigating to trace the source of the narcotics.
Police had recovered suspected MDMA weighing 1.9 grams, valued at Rs 19,000, from the possession of Sahil Kurdikar (35), a native of Bhati-Sanguem and currently residing in Calangute. Another suspected MDMA consignment weighing 1.5 grams, valued at Rs 15,000, was recovered from Mohammod Zidan V M, a native of Kasargod, Kerala, who is residing in Saligao.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ajit Velip of Canacona
