Two persons were injured after a car rammed into three vehicles at Matoje-Shigao on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred when a car, proceeding from Sanvordem to Shigao, rammed into two stationary scooters and a vehicle carrying cold drinks, before turning turtle on the road.
Akanksha Anand Gaonkar (20) from Matoje, who was seated on one scooter, and the car driver, Pramod Harischandra Kurdikar (45) of Curchorem, were injured in the mishap.
Locals present at the site helped the injured car driver and the girl by sending them in a 108 ambulance to the Curchorem health centre. The girl was later shifted to the district hospital in Margao for further treatment.
