PONDA
Two persons were injured when their car and a truck collided with each other near the Circle at Baitakhol-Borim on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the mishap took place as a truck was heading from Ponda towards Usgao, while the Andhra Pradesh registered car was proceeding from Usgao towards Margao.
Two persons identified as Chandan Bhagat (24) and Anjum (25) were injured in the mishap and were moved to the Ponda Sub-District Hospital for primary treatment and later referred to the GMC hospital at Bambolim. Investigations are in progress.
