PANAJI
The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has convened a special council meeting on Wednesday and on the agenda includes the shortlisting a consultant suggested by Goa State Urban Development Agency for preparation of various projects in the Capital City.
The corporation is expected to consider a request for preparation of a short-term water drain network plan for Panaji.
The expansion of market will be discussed and a decision on preparation of a comprehensive third-phase market complex plan is likely to be taken up for discussion.
The CCP will also deliberate on a proposal to declare a non-motorised road from Alphonso Guest House to St Sebastian’s Chapel in Fontainhas.
Also in the agenda includes a discussion on negotiation for redevelopment of the corporation owned building which was leased to the Cine National theatre a long time ago.
