PONDA:
Two brothers in a car were injured, while two others escaped unhurt in a road mishap at Khursake-Usgao
According to information, a Sumo jeep was going to Panaji along with an officer of the agriculture department, when a car struck the jeep from the rear at Khursake-Usgao.
The car driver, two brothers, Saqib Sheikh (20) and his brother Ayam (17), both from Usgao, were injured and were taken to the Sub-District Hospital at Ponda in a 108 ambulance.
They were later referred to Goa Medical College hospital at Bambolim for further treatment.
The Sumo jeep driver and officer of the Agriculture Department from Dharbandoda taluka escaped unhurt in the accident. Ponda police later conducted a panchanama of the incident.
