OLD GOATwo workers were killed after the crane in which they were working fell on its side at Goa Velha on Thursday.According to sources, the incident took place when the two workers were working from the bucket of a boom lifter crane.“Both workers were working on dismantling the Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) crane used at a construction site when the crane fell on its side,” the source said.“The two workers were flung on the ground and suffered serious injuries. They were shifted to the GMC hospital at Bambolim where they succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.Agassaim PSI Smita Morajkar is conducting further investigations in the incident.
