20-yr-old dies in road mishap at Velim

A 20-year-old scooterist succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident at Velim in the early hours of Sunday.

Cuncolim police stated that the rider, Senroy Pinto, a resident of Baradi-Velim, sustained injuries when his two-wheeler was struck by a tempo delivering soft drinks.

PI Diego Gracias informed that the rider succumbed to his injuries on the way to South Goa District Hospital. The Cuncolim police are investigating.
