PERNEM
With 21 new cases being detected on Wednesday, the Covid count crossed the 1,300-mark in Pernem taluka.
The new cases were detected in Mandrem (4), Korgao (3), Naibag (1), Parcem (2), Paliem (4), Pernem town (2), Tuem (2), Tambose (1), Nagzar (1) and Vazari (1), taking the total Covid cases to 1,305 in the taluka.
Mopa leads the list with 210 cases, followed by Mandrem (151), Pernem town (105), Tuem (96), Dhargal (78), Korgao (71) and Arambol (69). Twelve persons have succumbed to the virus in Pernem taluka.
