22 candidates in fray for four ZP seats in Pernem

With the withdrawal of 10 nominations on Thursday, 22 candidates are in the fray for elections to the four ZP constituencies in Pernem taluka.

There are as many as 7 candidates in the fray for the Dhargal ZP polls and they are Aniket Gokuldas Salgaonkar (Goa Forward Party), Anil Shankar Harmalkar (Revolutionary Goans Party), Dnyaneshwar Yashwant Shivji (Independent), Prasad Kamlakar Shahapurkar (Aam Aadmi Party), Rama Vasudev Naik (Independent), Shrikrishna Ravindra Harmalkar (Bharatiya Janata Party), and Uday Krishna Mandrekar (Independent).

The Arambol ZP constituency, which is reserved for women, has five candidates in the fray and they are Jacinta Francis D’Souza (Revolutionary Goans Party), Manisha Santosh Korkhankar (Bharatiya Janata Party), Nettie Fernandes (Congress), Radhika Uday Palekar (Independent), and Shrutika Shyam Shetye (Independent).

The Morjim ZP Constituency, which is reserved for OBC women, has five candidates in the fray and they are Priyanka Shivanand Dabholkar (Congress), Samiya Balaji Kannaik (Independent), Shilpa Sanjay Mhamal (Goa Forward Party), Suvarna Uttam Harmalkar (Aam Aadmi Party), and Tara Babuso Hadfadkar (Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party).

The Torse constituency, which is reserved for OBC, has five candidates in the fray and they are Gajanan Dattaram Gadekar (Independent), Keshav Ladko Kambli (Aam Aadmi Party), Narayan Govind Shirodkar (Revolutionary Goans Party), Pradeep Purushottam Kambli (Independent), and Raghoba Ladu Kambli (Bharatiya Janata Party).
