23 suspects detained at Shirgao Zatra — Bicholim SDPO Jivba Dalvi along with a police team at the ongoing Devi Lairai Zatra in Shirgao.

Bicholim police detained 23 suspects at the ongoing Devi Lairai Zatra in Shirgao, after they were found moving in the crowd with a possible intention to commit theft.

Bicholim SDPO Jivba Dalvi informed that the 23 suspects were detained under Section 172 BNSS.

He informed that police teams headed by PSI have been specially deployed in plainclothes to help in the detention of suspects. The overall law and order situation is being supervised by North Goa SP Akshat Kaushal along with DySP Dalvi.
