Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant asserting that around 300 people have become self reliant in Assonora Panchayat under the mission Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Swayampurna Goa said Swayampurna Mitra's have taken good initiatives to help locals to get Swayampurna in every field.
Sawant was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Mega Health and Medical Equipment Donation Camp under Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa in association with Rotary Club Mapusa at Assonora Bus Stand today
Chief Minister appreciating the Rotary Club of Mapusa , Inner wheel club of Mapusa and Swayampurna Mitra, Isha Sawant for taking initiatives towards making Assonora Village Panchayat Swayampurna said we have launched various schemes and it's the duty of Panchayat members and youth to make awareness about the Government schemes and help people to get benefits of every scheme provided by the Government.
Nilkhanth Halarnkar, MLA in his address said that the idea conceived by the Government in appointing Swayampurna Mitra is infact a decisive step to reach out to the needy people under the Mission Swayampurna.
The function was also attended by Isha Sawant, Swayampurna Mitra, Siddesh Kotkar Rotary Club Mapusa President, Rajavi Mahabal Inner Wheel Club president Mapusa, Haroon Ibrahim, Sapna Mapari and all Panch Member.
