36-yr-old Odisha native arrested for suspected possession of Ganja

Panaji police on Wednesday arrested 36 year old Ratan Kumar Pradhan from Odisha in a raid near Nagali Cricket Ground. The accused was found in possession of 970g of suspected ganja worth Rs 97,000.

In view of the Independence Day on August 15 scheduled in front of the Old Secretariat, Panaji, the Goa Police on Wednesday announced traffic diversions that would remain in place till the end of the ceremony.For incoming traffic, the stretch of DBB Marg from Bandodkar Statue to Abade Faria Statue will remain closed till 6am on August 15.
