3-day Budget session from January 29

PANAJI: A three-day Budget session of the Goa legislative Assembly is proposed to be held on January 29, 30 and 31, official sources said.

Being the first session of the year, Governor Mridula Sinha, will address the House on the opening day. The State budget for the year 2019-20 will be presented on one of the two subsequent days.

Sources said, the Manohar Parrikar-led government’s official communication recommending the summoning of the Legislature’s budget session has been forwarded to the office of the Speaker, Pramod Sawant.
