The prestigious IEEE Global Conference on Information Technology & Communication Networks (GITCON) 2025 was inaugurated on Friday at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi, in association with IEEE Bangalore SectionandNKSS. The three-day event attracted participation from over 16 countries, with 1,654 paper submissions, of which 221 papers were accepted for presentation.
The inaugural session began with an invocation and lamp lighting, followed by a welcome address by Dr M S Patil, Principal, KLS GIT. Dr Sanjeev S Sannakki, Conference Secretary and HOD CSE, presented an overview, and the conference proceedings were released.
Vijaykumar Daddi, VP, Research Processes & Sustainability Department, Mercedes Benz R&D India, delivered the keynote as Chief Guest, highlighting sustainable innovation in emerging technologies. Chairman of the governing council Rajendra Belgaumkar, delivered the presidential address. Dr Kuldeep Sambrekar, Convener of GITCON 2025 and HOD CSE (AI & ML), gave a vote of thanks to end the event.
