4 Kerala tourists lose phones worth Rs 3 lakh during their stay

A New Year trip to Goa turned costly for four tourists from Kerala after their mobile phones were stolen during their stay. The tourists lost four mobile phones, including two iPhones, with the total loss estimated at around Rs 3 lakh. The theft took place in the early hours of Thursday from the cottage where they were staying.

The four tourists visited the Colva police station on Thursday morning and asked the police to take action and recover their phones. However, they said they were disappointed as an FIR had not been registered even by noon.  Colva police said that the matter is under investigation and that efforts are being made to trace the accused and recover the stolen phones.
