406 Russians leave from Dabolim airport

A relief flight carrying around 406 tourists left for Russia on Saturday, taking the tally to 4,700 tourists evacuated by 25 relief flights from Dabolim Airport since March 25.

“Goa Airport scores quarter century of relief flights today with 406 passengers on board flight to Moscow through B777-300. Team Goa takes Pride in sending more than 4,700 passengers around the world,” stated a tweet by Dabolim Airport.

“Big Thanks to visible and invisible staff of AAI/housekeeping, APSU, AAI CLASS, Custom, Immigration, GHA, oil company, APHO, Goa State Admin, Police, Tourism, doctors, medics, etc. It would not have been possible without you. Selfless service “ acknowledged Dabolim Airport in its tweet. Meanwhile, Dabolim Airport authorities have also installed a touch-less sanitizing station as precautionary measure. 

“In the fight against Covid-19, Goa Airport has installed a touch-free hand sanitizing station, so that passengers can use this facility before reaching the counters. Some more being procured. Another step forward,” stated another tweet by Goa Airport.
