40-yr-old Dharwad labourer dies in Canacona

CANACONA

A 40-year-old labourer from Dharwad, Karnataka, employed at Avalem-Khotigao was found dead in his room early on Thursday morning.

According to Canacona police, Shankar Hadimane was employed as a labourer at Avalim-Khotigao and had been staying in a room for the last five days.

Hadimane was found unconscious in the room and was rushed to the CHC Canacona in a 108 ambulance for medical attention, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Police conducted an inquest panchnama and sent the body for preservation at the South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for further medico-legal formalities.

Canacona police registered an unnatural death, and Canacona PSI Vishal Velip is conducting further enquiry.
