5 vehicles damaged in tree fall at Mapusa — Firefighters clear the tree which collapsed in the compound of District Hospital at Mapusa.

Five vehicles were damaged after a tree came crashing down in the compound of the North Goa District Hospital at Mapusa on Saturday.
The incident took place at about 2.30 pm when the tree near the exit gate in the parking lot came crashing down.
Three cars and two two-wheelers parked near the tree were damaged. A fire tender later went to the site and cleared the fallen tree.

MAPUSAA 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the burglary in the Shree Vitthal Rakhumai Temple at Vitthalwadi-Ansabhat in Mapusa.Mapusa police arrested Srikanth alias Jaggu Pattar (35) a native of Hubli-Karnataka and all stolen items have been recovered from him.The burglar’s face had been captured in the CCTV footage at the temple.
