A “Sahastra Deep Prajwalan” programme was organised at the Shree Narsimha Sateri temple in in Chicalim on Sunday. As part of the programme, 5,001 oil lamps were lit on the theme of ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. The lamps were arranged to resemble Trishul, Damru , Shivling and Nandi.
The programme was organised by Rotaract club of Vasco da Gama, Rotary club of Vasco port town, Rotary cub of Vasco da Gama, Samraat club Vasco da Gama, Inner Wheel Club of Vasco da Gama along with Shree Ram Sports and Cultural Club, Mestawada.
