530 Agniveers complete training  at 2 Signal Training Centre, Goa

A majestic and impeccably executed Passing Out Parade (POP) showcasing military discipline & pride of Agniveers was conducted on Tuesday at 2 Signal Training Centre, Goa, marking the successful completion of military and technical training of 530 Agniveers. 

These young warriors have been transformed & moulded to fulfil the responsibilities and commitment as part of the Indian Army's Corps of Signals.

The parade was reviewed by Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, Commandant, 2 Signal Training Centre, who addressed the newly inducted Agniveers with words of motivation and pride. 

In his address, he congratulated the Agniveers on their transformation from a civilian youth to capable and disciplined soldiers of the Indian Army. He also lauded the staff of 2 Signal Training Centre for achieving the highest training standards and family members of Agniveers for their unwavering commitment to the nation.

The Passing Out Parade (POP) highlighted the precision and grandeur of military tradition while emphasizing the values of discipline, resilience, and adaptability instilled in the Agniveers during 31 weeks of rigorous training. Agniveer Patil Piyush Ramesh, Agniveer Rajat Indauliya, and Agniveer Govind Kumar were awarded the Overall 1st in Merit Medal in their respective courses. Agniveer Devara Siva received the Best in Physical & Sports medal, while Agniveer Biaksh Gauda was honored with the Best in Drill medal.

Commandant, 2 Signal Training Centre interacted with the proud families and parents of the Agniveers, commending their commitment and sacrifices. The proud parents were felicitated with the 'Gaurav Padak' for their invaluable contribution to the nation. He acknowledged that the strength and morale of these young warriors stem from the unwavering encouragement of their families and assured them that their sons are now a vital part of a force that upholds the highest standards of duty and honour.

The event marked not just the culmination of training for the Agniveers but the beginning of a glorious journey of service to the nation. The Passing Out Parade reflected the spirit of "Seva, Samarpan aur Shaurya" that defines every soldier of the Indian Army.
