63-year-old killed in hit and run at Rawanfond

A 63-year old pedestrian Mahadev Sattarkar was killed in a hit and run case at the Rawanfond traffic junction on Thursday evening.

Margao Police Station in-charge, PI Tulsidas Naik along with a posse of policemen rushed to Rawanfond after the pedestrian, a resident of Calconda, near Krishna Mandir, was knocked down by a speeding truck.

He said the pedestrian was rushed to the South Goa district hospital where he was declared brought dead.
