Reacting to the Save Mhadei Save Goa Front’s challenge to RGP to hold Goa Bandh on Mhadei, RGP president Manoj Parab said that Goa Bandh was proposed by the Front and not by RGP.
“Since the Front leaders failed to muster support for the Bandh, now they want to use RGP to organise the same which is not going to happen,” Parab informed while urging the Congress leaders in the Front to stop fooling people on Mhadei.
“On one side, these leaders are using the Front to further Congress’ interest but at the same time they are refusing to ask Karnataka Congress to stop the Mhadei diversion project,” Parab pointed out.
“If these leaders are serious about Mhadei, then they should quit Congress and then talk about saving Mhadei. They cannot have their feet on two boats,” Parab added.
