MARGAO
Two days after the Aam Aadmi Party firmly ruled out any alliance with the Congress for the ensuing Lok Sabha election, the party has opened it office in Nuvem constituency on Monday and promised to open offices in six more Assembly constituencies in South Goa in the next one week.
The Nuvem office of the party was inaugurated at the hands of Rosa Maria Dias, who cut the ribbon in the presence of AAP state convenor, Elvis Gomes, who is also the party candidate for the South Goa Lok Sabha seat.
Elvis addressed the group of people on the occasion of the office inauguration with a plea to support AAP to bring good governance in Goa on the lines of Delhi.
Sidharth Karapurkar informed that AAP will open as many as six offices in different constituencies within a week’s time, indicating that the party is seriously bracing up for the ensuing battle for the South Goa Lok sabha constituency.
AAP banners with photos of Elvis Gomes and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrival has come up at many places in South Goa, even in the hinterland areas of South
Goa, including Sanguem and Quepem.
While Elvis and the band of AAP volunteers seemed to have started the campaign with putting up banners in the hinterland talukas of south Goa, the party is now making its presence felt in eight crucial constituencies of Salcete.
