AAP sings Kejriwal's praises in Cortalim

Attempting to highlight their party's performance in Delhi, AAP volunteers on Thursday began campaigning for the party in Cortalim with visits to the market, houses and meeting the residents and distributing pamphlets and placards.
When The Goan questioned a party worker, Balkrishna Saina, regarding their purpose of visit, he said that they wanted to highlight various achievements of the Kejriwal government in Delhi.
“Kejriwal will be visiting Goa on May 22, and addressing a rally. The Delhi government has given lot of relief to the people of Delhi, be it free water, electricity and above all, has acted against corruption,” Saini said.
Asked if free water and electricity meant that the government's performance was good, Saini changed his argument and said that only up to certain units of water and electricity was free.
“We have been campaigning in Cortalim constituency on foot for over a week and many have joined the party,” he said.
Asked if AAP would contest the forthcoming assembly elections in the State, Saini said these issue will be decided by the party top brass.
Asked if there was any entry fee to be a member of the AAP, Karnat Mohan Mudhol, a party worker from Karnataka replied, “Entry is free. You only have to give a missed call. For your information, we have been incurring expenses of travel and stay in Goa. We are not taking anything from the party,” a beaming Mudhol said.
