Male found dead in river
SALIGAO: The decomposed body of a middle-aged man was retrieved by Porvorim police from the Mandovi river on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, Porvorim police received a message stating that a body was floating in the river near Ambekhand“Reis Magos.
Police said the deceased is wheatish in complexion and was found wearing a black-coloured trouser and white-coloured full-sleeved shirt.
Porvorim police has sent wireless messages to all police stations in the State and so far, no one has filed any missing complaint in this regard.
Police has sent the body to the mortuary at GMC hospital at Bambolim.
