Acharya Balkrishna has once again been named among the top two percen f scientists in the world, according to a list published by a Stanford University research group in collaboration with publisher Elsevier.
This recognition is a matter of pride not just for Acharya Balkrishna, but also for Patanjali, Ayurveda, and the nation. By combining India’s ancient knowledge with modern science, he has shown that determination and passion can achieve great results. His work continues to inspire scientists worldwide to explore the benefits of natural herbs.
With his expertise in Ayurveda and research, Acharya Balkrishna has helped publish over 300 research papers in international journals. Under his leadership, Patanjali has developed more than 100 evidence-based Ayurvedic medicines, providing safe alternatives to allopathic treatments. He has also authored over 120 books on Yoga and Ayurveda and contributed to more than 25 ancient Ayurvedic manuscripts. His Herbal Encyclopaedia, cataloguing natural herbs, is recognised as an important resource for future researchers.
Through initiatives like the Herbal World in Malagon, Uttarakhand, he has also shared traditional medical practices from around the world with the public. On this occasion, Yogrishi Swami Ramdev said that Acharya Balkrishna has not only given Ayurveda a strong scientific base but also opened new research paths in natural medicine.
He added that being ranked among the world’s top scientists proves the hidden potential of natural herbs and traditional wisdom, and marks a historic step for India’s research leadership.
