Speaking at Congress House alongside Chodankar, Rodrigues urged the electors of these two constituencies to give Congress an opportunity and to punish the BJP for creating unnecessary bypolls for their vested interests.
"Parrikar is the most corrupt Chief Minister Goa has ever had. Panaji has not seen any development in the last 25 years under Manohar Parrikar."
"Now, he is asking for another year to solve Panaji's issues. He is not accessible to the constituents," Adv Rodrigues stated.
It was disclosed that several residents of Ribandar have begun to organise a campaign to ensure the defeat of Parrikar, at least in the six of the 30 booths from the constituency which are located in
Ribandar area.

"An independent health center, electricity and water supply, clean wells, a football ground and a cremation ground are among the several long-pending demands of Ribandar residents which have not been resolved by Parrikar. Panaji will now ensure his political funeral," Adv Rodrigues declared and challenged Parrikar to an open debate.
Adv Rodrigues also predicted that Atanasio "Babush" Monserrate's corporators will work silently against Parrikar. "They were tortured by Parrikar and they will not be loyal to him," Rodrigues claimed.
Referring to Valpoi constituency, Adv Rodrigues admitted that he has never met Congress candidate Roy Naik. "However, he is the only option and we have to defeat Rane, who has been disloyal to Congress and has only sought to further his vested interests through this bypoll he has imposed on his voetrs," the activist argued.
