Admissions for undergraduate course to begin on May 10

PANAJI

Admissions for undergraduate courses across 38 colleges are scheduled to commence on May 10, with the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) accepting online applications.

A total of 17,511 students cleared their Class 12 exams in the academic year 2023-24, a slight decline from the previous year’s count of 18,497.

Higher Education Director Bhaskar Savaikar confirmed the commencement date for undergraduate admissions comprising BSc, BA, and BCom, which will begin on May 10. Over the past few years, the DHE has consistently managed this process online, through a centralized approach.

Upon the opening of the DHE portal, students are required to submit their applications, specifying their programme preferences. Subsequently, seats will be allocated based on students’ academic performance and their chosen institute and programme. Once allocated, students must proceed to the designated college to complete the admission process.
