Chandan Naik was elected unopposed as Sarpanch of Adpai-Durbhat panchayat on Friday.
The post had fallen vacant following the ouster of Kshipra Adpaikar in a no-confidence motion.
On Friday, Chandan Naik was the only panch to file his nomination to the post and he was elected unopposed.
Naik along with other panch members visited Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar. The new sarpanch assured that the development works would be carried out with the support of the other members.
