PANAJI: Air India Express has filed proposed international network changes for the Winter 2026 season, with Goa’s Dabolim Airport set to regain a daily connection to Dubai. The Air India Group is also planning a significant increase in domestic flight capacity between Mumbai and Goa.
As per the filed schedule, the Goa-Dabolim (GOI)-Dubai route will resume with seven flights per week, restoring daily international connectivity between the two destinations. Air India Express has also proposed several new international routes, resumptions and frequency changes across its network for the upcoming winter schedule.
Air India Express said the increase in Dubai frequencies should be viewed in the context of the summer schedule, when some flights were not fully utilised following mid-season reductions.
Meanwhile, under the revised schedule effective October 25, the Air India Group will operate up to eight flights daily on the Mumbai-Goa (BOM-GOI) sector, providing more travel options on one of the key air links between Maharashtra and Goa. The capacity increase is part of a wider expansion by the group on select metro-to-non-metro routes from Mumbai.
The Winter 2026 schedule remains subject to change, with further revisions possible as the season approaches.
