Aldona Congress candidate Carlos Ferreira received a further boost to his election campaign after a group of motorcycle taxi pilots and rickshaw operators from Aldona extended their support to him.
In their interaction with Ferreira, the motorcycle taxi pilots and rickshaw operators expressed the problems faced by them and issues that have been neglected over the years.
The operators informed that they lack a proper stand and a public toilet facility as well as other amenities which need to be made available.
Ferreira assured to take up these issues on priority.
“Such basic needs of the common man cannot be neglected,” Ferreira said, and assured to take their issues on priority.
