The Indian Super League (ISL) organisers got an all-clear to hold this season’s final on Sunday permitting fans to occupy 100 per-cent capacity at the Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.
The expert committee advising the Goa government on Covid-19 management on Thursday considered the issue and gave its consent to hold the ISL’s final match with 100 per-cent occupancy of the stands in the
stadium.
However, the panel directed that only those fully vaccinated be permitted to enter the stadium. In case not fully vaccinated, individuals will need to produce 72-hours valid Covid-19 negative report. Wearing masks should also be made compulsory and Covid-19 appropriate behaviour ensured.
Meanwhile, Goa reported a minor spike in the daily new infections on Thursday with 13 new cases recorded.
Health officials said 1,000 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
