Vaccination of school children in the 12-14 age bracket also picked up pace on Thursday with 1,561 children administered the first dose, according to the State’s Immunization Officer, Dr Rajendra Borkar.
Dr Borkar said the vaccination is being carried out at designated centres and in some cases where co-ordination between the health officials and school managements is conducive teams are sent to the schools.
