Ambelim P'yat: Adopt the plan passed in 2019

MARGAO
The special gram sabha of Ambelim panchayat on Saturday rejected the controversial draft plan.

The meeting chaired by Sarpanch Denica Correia saw the members unanimously objecting to the CZMP in its present form, demanding that the GCZMA incorporate all the changes and suggestions mooted by the villagers in 2019.

While vehemently objecting to the marking of River Sal as port limits, the gram sabha objected to the plan prepared by the government, which makes no mention of the fishing stakes in the river Sal.

The gram sabha demanded that the GCZMA adopt the plan which was passed by the villages in 2019.
