State BJP President Damodar Naik has said Union Home Minister Amit Shah has emphasised the importance of strengthening the party in the State.
Speaking to reporters at Dabolim airport after arriving from Delhi where he had met Shah, Naik described the meeting as “fruitful”, marking his first official interaction with Shah since taking over as the state BJP president.
“Amit Shah had called me to Delhi, and we had a very productive discussion on strengthening the BJP in Goa. He has extended all his support to the party and emphasised the importance of organisational development. Our focus is to strengthen the party and work towards success in the 2027 assembly elections,” Naik stated.
He further mentioned that several strategies were discussed, though he refrained from sharing details, stating that their impact would be visible in the coming months.
