The approach road to Odar bridge at Curchorem has reportedly sunk to some extent and has posed a danger to unsuspecting motorists.
The four-lane bridge constructed by GSIDC was inaugurated some time back. However, the approach road has sunk to some extent, leading vehicles to jump as they enter the bridge towards the Sanvordem side.
Speaking to reporters, Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral said he has already spoken to the GSIDC officials and asked them to get the matter rectified, as the situation is precarious and needs immediate rectification.
“It is a normal situation for newly constructed approach roads to sink to some extent, but the approach road will be rectified in the next few days,” said Cabral.
