Five achievers of Aptech Aviation Academy who hail from the vernacular medium or from a rural background were felicitated by the academy on Tuesday evening.
Rotarian Kirti Suranjan was the chief guest of the function while Principal of the KLE BV Bellad College Narsimha was the guest of honour.
Praveen Sadalgi, Shubhangi Girbide, Muskan Mulla, Thamodaram and Tasmiya Mulla have been selected for various airlines, either as aircrew or at the airports.
Director of Aptech Aviation Academy Vinod Bamane briefed about the practical training imparted by the academy and said a majority of the students who either come from a rural background or from vernacular medium have been achieving success in the aviation and hospitality industry.
Kirti Suranjan congratulated the students and said that the success of the youngsters coming from a rural background is to be lauded.
“Many more students and parents should take advantage of the job-oriented training at Aptech Aviation,” Suranjan said.
Jyoti Bamane, Prakash Patil and the parents of the students were present at the function.
