The body of a 50-year-old resident of Nachinola who allegedly jumped into the river to commit suicide has been found some distance away from Moira bridge on Wednesday morning.The man, identified as Digambar Dhond, had left his borrowed two-wheeler on the bridge and jumped into the river on Tuesday noon.
He is said to have resorted to the extreme step due to some personal issues.
Mapusa Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
