MARGAO:
Residents of the Aquem area of Margao complained of Power outages on Tuesday morning.
In fact, it was pointed out that electricity had failed thrice since morning for long duration. The residents were trying to figure out whether the power department had announced any shut down in Aquem after they experienced power outages for long duration.
A senior power official attributed the power outages to the installation of electricity boxes in the area.
The official further informed that power department staff were also attending to a faulty cable in the area.
